We’re looking for a Business Development Manager - Digital Asset who will develop understanding of the business priorities and objectives of blockchain-based solutions focusing on digital assets and identify business opportunities to achieve the business growthThis role is the individual contributor and will be reporting to the Head of Business.

Job Descriptions:

  • Understand the benefits of blockchain asset tokenization and develop the ability to facilitate and communicate effectively to prospective token issuers in the Group companies.
  • Explore business opportunities e.g. new services, new products, changes in laws and regulations, new technologies and platforms etc. with and identify the potential business development to serve client needs
  • Work with existing business partners to develop and expand awareness of Ascend Bit’s platform and develop new business pipelines.
  • Create product marketing materials that clearly position our digital asset issuance and exchange strengths to prospective clients.
  • Explore business opportunities e.g. new services, new products, changes in laws and regulations, new technologies and platforms etc. with and identify the potential business development to serve client needs
  • Work with product team to build product roadmaps to meet customers’ needs to gain competitive advantage
  • Build relationship with internal and external stakeholders and to create commercial and marketing partnership
  • Ensuring that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (KPIs) in line with business objectives.
  • Have end-to-end responsibility of key business development initiatives from ideation to execution
  • Conduct research where required to gain understanding of customers’ needs as well as understanding on market landscape and competition

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in business development or relevant role especially in Banking, Consulting, FinTech, Blockchain
  • Understand the possibilities that blockchain provides and what digital asset management on the distributed ledger means and the opportunities it provides.
  • Outstanding communication both in Thai and English and interpersonal abilities and presentation skills
  • Expertise in network building, lead generation, proposal building and partner/client on-boarding and relationship lifecycle management
  • Basic understanding of product management and development process is preferred
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Basic understanding of product management and development process is preferred
  • Outstanding communication both in Thai and English and interpersonal abilities
  • Computer literacy and proficient in Google Suite and/or MS Office
