We’re looking for a Business Development Manager - Payment Settlement who will be creating the impact to the business through the blockchain-based solutions that would provide the flexible and decentralized payment settlement among Group companies which will address the time and cost effectiveness. This role is the individual contributor and will be reporting to the Head of Business.

Job Descriptions:

  • Develop understanding of the business priorities and objectives of blockchain-based solutions focusing on supply chain payment settlement and identify business opportunities to achieve the business growth
  • Grow partnerships within the Group companies to drive the impact from payment settlement solutions
  • Explore business opportunities e.g. new services, new products, changes in laws and regulations, new technologies and platforms etc. with and identify the potential business development to serve client needs
  • Finds out efficient, effective solutions for any issues and problems occurred in the project and escalate for any urgent or serious or unsolvable matters
  • Ensuring that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (KPIs) in line with business objectives.
  • Have end-to-end responsibility of key business development initiatives from ideation to execution
  • Conduct research where required to gain understanding of customers’ needs as well as understanding on market landscape and competition
  • Work with product team to build product roadmaps to meet customers’ needs to gain competitive advantage

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in business development or relevant roles especially in Banking, Consulting, FinTech
  • Understanding and experience in intercompany payment settlement and decentralized finance concept is preferred
  • Experience with agile delivery concepts
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication both in Thai and English and interpersonal abilities and presentation skills
  • Expertise in network building, lead generation, proposal building and partner/client on-boarding and relationship lifecycle management
  • Basic understanding of product management and development process is preferred
  • Computer literacy and proficient in Google Suite and/or MS Office
